So not too long ago my 30th high school reunion is held at this local wine bar in Tribeca named TERROIR TRIBECA. The owner Paul Grieco (of Gramercy Tavern & Hearth fame) and the staff do a fantastic job of making one feel at home, and nothing makes me feel at home like great vino and outstanding eats to go with the libations!
The menu has an outstanding array of apps, salads, sandwiches and various other delectable tidbits but the one item that absolutely knocked me off my feet was the YOSHI FRIED CHICKEN (goooooood eats!!!). Basically it’s Japanese fried chicken (chicken Kara-age) and I gotta say they make some of the best I’ve ever had. Ridiculously moist and juicy on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside; this is the one item that I could eat day in and day out! I personally like it paired with Champagne or Viognier but no matter what you choose to drink, you’re going to love the fried bird! TERROIR TRIBECA is totally worth checking out!!
